The devastating wildfires in Banff of 2003 inspired the award-winning script Faces of Fire, penned by Parks Canada's Mountain World Heritage Interpretive Theatre troupe. Faces of Fire - A Theatrical Journey into the Heart of Wild Fire, a three person show, was presented free of charge to a packed audience at the Hull's Wood Amphitheatre in August of 2006. This three-person show was at times both very funny and very serious, and the majority of the humour, action, music, and energy was enjoyed by people of all ages, while some of the jokes were directed specifically at adults. Lively participation is encouraged and formed a significant part of the show. Come out with your family this summer to enjoy Faces of Fire an educational, environmentally conscious, and wildly entertaining production from this creative and talented troupe. Stay tuned to the website for more information about upcoming shows.
